Its so hard to believe that my sweet boy is 6 months old. This first half year of his life has absolutely flown by and despite his occasional fussiness & slow start in the sleeping-thru-the-night department, Weston has been an easy baby. {I guess its all relative because nothing about having an infant is easy, per say.}

As his 6-month picture above indicates, he does not miss a meal. He was almost 21 lbs at his check-up and 28" in length. (Jackson was 21 lbs at 12 months...) Westie is barely fitting in 12-month clothing and is nearly wearing the same size diapers as his big brother. And he will max out his infant carriers weight capacity at 22 lbs so we will have to ditch that & go ahead & move him up to a rear-facing "big boy" car seat.

We started 3 solid meals a day several weeks ago and Westie gets cranky if it's feeding time and his milk isn't chased with some veggies or fruit. His favorites are squash, sweet potatoes and prunes but he'll eat pretty much anything I offer him. He also likes to share smoothies with us and he's enjoys sampling yogurt, chocolate pudding and anything else we will let him try.
Anything that is within reach is pulled directly to his mouth. No teeth have broken through yet but if his drooling is any indication, he'll have a mouthful in no time.
Weston is such a happy, good natured baby and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect fit for our family.
