I've officially been pregnant 1 week longer than I was with J. Great for New Baby but unfortunate for those who have to see me in my tankini at the pool & really unfortunate for the little one who has been drug into every public bathroom in Greenville since I can't go 5 minutes without peeing! (Don't even ASK if I pee in the pool...)
We've had a summer full of house guests but very low on road trips. Lots of pool time, play time & definitely some good, long afternoon naps for both of us. A few really short visits to the library (how loud do they let you get before asking you to leave?), many trips to Dillard Farms to get hand-scooped ice cream & 1 fun but stressful trip to the water park - I mean, how is a really pregnant Mommy supposed to keep up with a fearless 2-year-old single-handedly at a waterpark? (we only did the huge slide once...I was not hauling a toddler & a huge tube up 6 flights of stairs more than 1 time!)
J spent 3 nights with Bebe & PopPaw last week and is at the beach this week with Poppy & Nanny. That means lots of free time for me to rest...or in my case, get lots of things checked off the list. Same goes for Ben.
Although we are keeping our baby names a secret, we've been priming Jackson by teaching him the names and as of now, he can only pronounce the girl name..and even then, it's not really the correct pronunciation and it's insanely cute. (Not that either name is unusual or difficult to say, he's just a new talker) Wish I could post our video of him saying the baby's name but that just may give it away...5 weeks or less (hopefully less)!
