I've been pretty busy with my extremely active almost-3-year-old so Weston's monthly birthdays seem to sneak by more and more quickly!
Nearly 2 weeks ago, sweet Westie turned 7 months old. He's pushing 22 lbs and is wearing 18 month clothing. Any hope of being able to use Jackson's hand-me-downs is diminishing as Weston closes in on Jackson size-wise. He's currently wearing jammies that Jackson wore last spring and that he could probably still cram in to, albeit a little snug.
Its no surprise that Westie enjoys eating and expects 3 solid meals a day in addition to nursing on demand. He's doing well with puffs and rice crackers and we tried tiny shreds of chicken for the first time recently. I just recovered from a bad case of mastitis (as in bed-ridden for a day and Ben had to stay home from work) but fortunately my milk supply did not suffer.
Weston is not a fan of tummy time and due to body-mass ratio, he's not ready to crawl quite yet. He does reach for anything in sight & goes from sitting to tummy but no real forward motion yet. He does stand pretty well and likes to play standing up closely supervised.
Weston thinks Jackson hung the moon and absolutely ADORES his brother. Adores him.

And we decided it was time to bring an old favorite down from the attic. Westie has enjoyed playing on the rocket car but Jackson played with it for 2 hours yesterday morning. Yes, 2 hours. I need to start taking away and reintroducing more toys!
